ASPIRE is our performance and competitive dance company at Arizona Dance Artistry. ASPIRE dancers participate in several performances each year plus 3-4 dance competitions a year and one regional dance convention. They attend our Summer Intensives, Choreography Workshops and take dance very seriously. Our ASPIRE team members also participate in our annual production of the Nutcracker and audition for soloist and lead roles such as Clara and Sugar Plum Fairy.
ASPIRE Company Class Requirements Dancers enrolled in company are considered our most ADVANCED and DEDICATED students. They have a required Elite level classes mixed with other required technical classes. Class level placement will be assigned with company level placement from audition. All team members are held to the highest standards and each age division has a slightly different requirement. All ASPIRE members take a minimum of 2 hours of ballet a week (plus Pointe if applicable), 1.5 hours of company level jazz, 1 hour rotating technique workshop. All team members are highly encouraged to take Tumbling/Acro, Tap or other styles that interest them.
