About Foundation to ASPIRE
Foundation to ASPIRE is a non-profit organization that houses the Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre and scholarship fund.

Our Nutcracker production is put on each year by the Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre with the support of the local Phoenix community through the Foundation to ASPIRE fundraising efforts. Dancers from all around the Valley have joined our annual production of the Nutcracker since 2008.

We have made every effort to provide dancers with professional costumes, backdrops and scenery, training and choreography as well the stage experience they will never forget at a minimal participation cost to the family. This participation fee goes toward rehearsal and choreography time, costume and prop usage plus one performance DVD. The rest of our production budget is acquired through donations and other fundraising activity.

About Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre
Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre (PYBT) was created as an alternate ballet-based performance program for serious dancers at Arizona Dance Artistry as means to provide the holiday classic, “The Nutcracker Suite” on a professional level. As our Ballet company continued to grow the need to separate the two programs became necessary and PYBT was formed in 2011. The company is housed out of Arizona Dance Artistry dance studios, Dancers all over the Valley are invited to audition for the annual production of “The Nutcracker Suite” and/or Summer Ballet Intensive Training Program. Dancers do not need to be a member of Arizona Dance Artistry in order to audition for Nutcracker or Summer Intensive. Looking forward, PYBT will present additional professional content such as Ailvin Ailey and Martha Graham inspired repertory plus additional classical story ballets.
